About Me
When I was about 8 years old I decided that I wanted to be a florist and that is a choice I haven’t regretted since. I started in the industry straight out of high school and have had so many amazing experiences since then.
My floral style is modern with a focus on colour and shape, I love letting the flowers speak for themselves and like to allow them to wiggle and pop where they like.
From an environmental perspective I am very aware of the pitfalls and failings within the floral industry and am constantly trying to improve my floral practice. When possible I will always buy locally and love to work with clients who share this vision and embrace the seasonality of local produce. I aim to move towards using only locally grown flowers and foliages and eliminating floral foam from my work however I am still in the process of figuring out what this means for my floristry so am not there yet.
I would like clients to think about the environmental impact of their flowers and be open to a dialogue about how we can work towards minimising our footprint.
